In case you weren't aware: Cadillac is calling the new large sedan the CT6. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
But as many readers pointed out, Cadillac used to have a big, bad top-o-the-line model called the Series 62.
How awesome would it be if they did go with that name?
"The Series 62. By Cadillac"
That's pretty heavy, right?

They will never do that, because then everyone would complain that they named the car after the average age of their buyers.

The real problem are Cadillac haters, obviously.
I suggest that we ship them to Canada.

Live in NYC - once in Toronto on business and was astonished when the taxi driver smiled at me. And tried to engage in conversation.

They deserve a lot of grief.
A name evokes emotion. Two letters and a number evokes nothing. How many people know the original Mustang was sold as the T5 in Germany (there was a heavy truck named Mustang over there at the time)? Would they have sold half a million of 'em in the first year if they were called T5 here? No, because Mustang is an incredible name.
Millions of words in English, and they can't pick ONE that works? Come on Cadillac, you can do better.
